Ascension Academy is one of a kind space dedicated towards a journey to finding the authentic true self. Rooted in modalities like transpersonal psychology, Internal Family Systems and Jungian psychology, we are dedicated to facilitating your in-depth journey towards a more integrated, whole and expansive self.

Journey to Self

– I wanted to engage with my narrative through creative means. I hadn’t found another way to do so through other trainings and I wanted a group where I could gather with like-minded individuals and dip into an alternative process of engaging with myself.

– My experience throughout the workshop was one of continuous exploration. It was an intuitive process which was innovative, fresh & communal at its heart.
– What I enjoyed most about this process was the slow trust which began to develop in my own Self. Through the use of these different mediums, I always arrived at the door of what was most authentic and true for me. This in essence for me is the crux of the healing & expansive process; authenticity, connection & trust.
– What I took away from the course was something very experientially profound. It is a trust in my own process as a practitioner in the healing line of work. It is trust in my own self as a creative & an individual who is continuously exploring and hopes to find such containers to grow in, in the future.
– I would recommend this course to anyone inclined to finding a rich dialogue with first and foremost themselves, and then, the community. It is inclusive of all those who have a taste for self exploration and the creative journey.
– It is an invitation to experience oneself through a truthful lens after years of alienation.

Journey to the Self

I joined the creative process with little apprehension in terms of how I look at my art expression, and there was inherent shame about it. The journey turned out to be more than art and crayons. As I dove deeper into the unconscious realm of soul promises and persona, I realized it was a much needed intervention. The creative process has undoubtedly helped me look deeper into my ‘self’. The facilitator has a very good grip on what she is doing, knows the direction of the process, and always leaves you with something to think about later. It’s a great learning opportunity for budding therapists who are ready to be vulnerable and look inside.

– The reason I joined the course was the curiosity to delve deeper into self exploration.
– The experience was amazingly rich and brought so many overlooked aspects into the conscious realm.
– The session on soul promises spoke volumes to me in terms of how I am navigating unconsciously into the world and making promises without realizing their impact on them. I was moved.
– One thing that I took away was mindful awareness of my presence within myself and in the outer world. The course gave me a trailhead to follow.
– I would definitely recommend this course to people who are willing to go deeper and beyond theoretical narratives.
– The experience was way more satisfactory, enriched, uncomfortably deeper, and more kind than I thought it would be.
– I would also like to pay my gratitude to the facilitator for adjusting my needs and making room for people living in alternative and parallel realities.

IFS Training

Being from Ayesha’s first batch of the IFS training, I’m dropping in a detailed review of honest feedback from my experience for those who might be considering joining.
Ayesha always handles her courses really well, she comes planned and having researched and every class builds upon the previous ones in its own way and you do see an obvious progression in your understanding or acquisition of whatever you were meant to learn.

Even if you’re a trainee therapist, the gap in understanding is bridged soon enough as the theory itself is new, simple, intuitive, and incredibly useful across the spectrum of life experiences. It is also one of the latest researches and is constantly being developed in various parts of the world. A new modality in the therapy world, Ayesha is one of the only skilled practitioners in Pak currently who can do justice to teaching it.

So my advice would be to go for it, it’s worth the time and the money and it’s become an almost _obvious_ choice for currently practicing therapists who come across it, given the nature and practical applicability of the approach. The terminology is relevant, and the case studies are eye-opening.
Every session consists of a range of practical activities, from initially learning how to apply elements of the theoretical framework upon oneself, to exploring various meditations and real-life productions like music, interviews, and poetry, some creative process, somatic exercises, and a lot of fishbowls!
One of the best parts of IFS is how the approach engulfs your sensibilities in a manner that allows you to go really deep in a short amount of time, making the exploratory or healing process quite effective for yourself, and your clients.
